The legendary Manhattan Transfer is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year with a brand-new studio album and global tour!
FIFTY will be available to stream September 23 and on CD October 21, and features the GRAMMY Award-winning vocal group alongside Germany’s renowned WDR Funkhausorchester. Together, they have created 10 new arrangements of some of the group’s biggest hits (including “Chanson D’Amour,” “Twilight Zone/Twilight Tone,” and more), plus other fan favorites and notable cover songs.
Their take on “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys – with an unbelievable arrangement by Vince Mendoza and Amanda Taylor – is out now and you can listen below.
